Leh Ladakh 6 Nights 7 Days Itinerary

ARRIVE AT LEH

Welcome to Leh Airport; you will be transported safely to the Hotel. Take complete rest for a day; Indulge in some leisure activities before you acclimatize to the climate of Leh. In the evening, visit Leh market and Shanti Stupa. Spend overnight at the hotel in Leh.

LEH – TRAVEL TO MONASTERIES

Enjoy your breakfast to travel to the Indus valley monastery including Shey, the ancient capital of Ladakh; Thiksey, a grand complex surging tier upon tier atop a hill overlooking the village and Stok Palace, constructed entirely by the Ladakhi craftsmen, which continues to be the home for the Namgyal dynasty to this day. Take a scintillating view of Sindhu Ghat. Back to the hotel room for an overnight stay.

LEH – TRAVEL TO NUBRA VALLEY (120 KMS / 5 HRS)

After an early breakfast, we undertake an adventurous trip to Nubra Valley, crossing Khardung-la-pass, popularly called the “Idorma” or “Valley of flowers” one of the world’s highest motorable roads, located about 40 kilometres from Leh.  It is located on the northern end of Ladakh between the Ladakh and Karakoram ranges of the Himalayas. Time to check in at the hotel, as we plan to visit the Samstanling Monastery next.

TRIP TO NUBRA VALLEY – LEH (190 KMS / 7 HRS)

A sumptuous breakfast is followed by a visit to the Diskit Monastery and sand dunes. There is camel safari which you can enjoy. Later, take a drive to Leh over Khardung La. Relax for a while in the afternoon, or visit the local market. Spend overnight at the hotel.

TRAVEL TO PANGONG LAKE (154 KMS / 5 HRS)

Following an early breakfast, travel to the Pangong lake through the Changla pass at 5486m. Pangong Lake, located at a breath-taking 14,000 feet (4,267m) is a high altitude saltwater lake, about  6 to 7 km at its widest point stretching across a length of over 130km.Seperated by the international border between India and its neighbour China. The landscape of the region is sheer beauty at the backdrop of the lake. You can relax in the lap of nature and enjoy the dazzling sceneries. Spend the evening at leisure and enjoy the full camp experience near the lake.

PANGONG LAKE TO LEH (145 KMS / 5 HRS)

Explore the ravishing beauty of the lake as we take a ride to Leh enroute visiting the Thiksey, a majestic complex emerging tier upon tier above the hermit and Shey. Explore the region further. Stay overnight in Leh.

 DEPART LEH 

Tour concludes with an early breakfast.  Drive to the airport for the return flight back home.
