Gujarat Itinerary for 7 Days

Day 1: Rajkot to Dwarka (230kms/4.5 hours)

Arrive at Rajkot. Travel from Rajkot to Dwarka

Feel welcomed by our representative upon your arrival at Rajkot. Proceed to Dwarka which is about a 4.5-hour drive (230 km). On arrival, check in at your hotel, and enjoy the rest of the day in leisure. This begins your Gujarat itinerary for 7 days, with an overnight stay in Dwarka.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Dwarka – Dwarka Tourist Places

Breakfast is followed by a dip in one of the sacred rivers of India, River Gomti, fitting into the regional customs. Next, proceed to Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, mentioned in the Shiva Purana as one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. Also, visit Gopi Talav in the vicinity that retells the mythological stories of Lord Krishna and the Gopis. Continue to travel further to the island of Bet Dwarka Island. On your return trip, pay a visit to the Rukmini Temples and other famous temples in the underlying coastal regions. The popular evening aarti at the Dwarkadhish Temple is next on the list of must-do activities here. A day well-spent sightseeing Dwarka and recharging your spiritual battery. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Dwarka.

Day 3: Dwaraka to Somnath (230kms/4.5 hours)

Dwaraka to Somnath Tour – Tour Itinerary / Dwaraka to Porbandar

After breakfast, check out from the hotel, and travel from the city of Dwaraka to Porbander in the early morning. Head to the Kirti Temple, the memorial constructed in the remembrance of Mahatma Gandhiji. From here proceed to the Sudama Temple. Later start your journey to Somnath. Upon your arrival in Somnath, check in at the hotel, and spend the rest of the day in leisure. Overnight stay in Somnath.

Day 4: Sightseeing in Somnath – Somnath Tour

Breakfast is followed by a visit to famous tourist places of Somnath including Triveni Sangam, Gandhi Ashram, Geeta Mandir Chowpatty and Bhalka Tirth. In the evening, proceed to the Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva. Turbocharge your spiritual quotient with the grand evening aarti at the temple, and later visit the hotel. Somnath trip ends. Overnight stay in Somnath.

Day 5: Somnath to Diu (105kms/3 hours)

Travel from Somnath to Diu

After breakfast, proceed to Diu. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel, and spend the rest of the day in leisure. Overnight stay in Diu.

Day 6: Sightseeing in Diu – Diu Tourist Places

Finish breakfast. Get ready for a sightseeing tour of Diu. Visit the St. Paul Church and Diu Museum. Enjoy beach activities in the afternoon, if time available. Diu city tour ends. Overnight stay in Diu.

Day 7: Diu to Rajkot (250 kms / 5.5 hours)

Diu – Departure from Rajkot

On Day 7, after breakfast, you’ll be transferred from Diu to Rajkot airport for the return flight back home, marking the end of your 6 nights 7 days Gujarat package. It’s a perfect conclusion to your week-long journey across Gujarat.
