The full day is for sight seeing of Mahabalipuram. Overnight stay at hotel. Mahabalipuram is situated on the shores of the Bay of Bengal, 60km South of Chennai. It was once a port of the Pallavas, a place containing Sculptural Panels, Caves, Monolithic Rathas and Temples. For centuries it has been a centre of pilgrimage. |

We do pay a visit to the temples in and around Kumbakonam. Kumbakonam is one of the oldest towns situated in Thanjavur district of Tamil Nadu. It is famous for its Mahamaham festival that is celebrated once in 12 years in the Mahamaham tank located at the heart of the city. Kumbakonam is also known as the temple city of South India, is picturesquely located amidst the two rivers, Cauvery and Arasalar. In the 7th Century it was the capital of Chola Kings. DAY5 - KUMBAKONAM - THANJAVUR |

DAY6 - THANJAVUR – MADURAI |
Morning make a visit to company were bronze casting & intricate art of Veena making is done, then proceed to Madurai via Chettinadu. Madurai is known as the Athens of the East, & the second largest city in Tamil Nadu. It is situated on the banks of the river Vaigai. An ancient city, more than 2,500 years old, Madurai is believed to having been built by the Pandyan King Kulasekara in the 6th century BC. Overnight stay at hotel. |
DAY7 - MADURAI – CHENNAI |
Full day sight seeing of Madurai, a city famous for its temples and has a history dating all the way back to the Sangam period of the pre Christian era. Later in the night depart back to home by night train. |
