DAY 1: LONDON - AMSTERDAM.
We meet our Tour-Director this morning at the Barbican Hotel, and then we're off to Dover for our cruise to France. Belgium's Flanders Fields lead to Holland and the canals and bridges, which make Amsterdam the 'Venice of the North'. Our orientation tour of this exciting city shows us Dam Square and the Mint Tower. Then we visit a diamond-polishing factory before continuing to our hotel.

DAY 2: AMSTERDAM - RHINELAND.
This morning we enter Germany to visit Cologne and view its 13th century Gothic cathedral. Then a memorable Rhine cruise takes us past castles, half timbered houses and vineyards. We see the legendary Loreley Rock and admire Pfalz Castle sitting in the middle of the river. (B, D)

DAY 3: RHINELAND - INNSBRUCK.
Magnificent scenery through the wooded Bavarian Alps for views of ‘Mad' King Ludwig's fairytale castle of Neuschwanstein. Over the Austrian border to Innsbruck, where we see the impressive Golden Roof and the Imperial Palace. Tonight, how about a lively Austrian folklore show? (B, D)

DAY 4: INNSBRUCK - LUCERNE.
Spectacular Alpine scenery as we leave the Austrian Alps for a stop in the small principality of Liechtenstein dominated by Vaduz Castle. Then along the Walensee Lake to Lucerne where we see the 14th century covered Chapel Bridge and the Lion Monument. Time to shop before reaching our hotel. (B, D)

DAY 5: LUCERNE - PARIS.
We drive past the Swiss port of Basel into France. Skirting. The Jura Mountains, we continue through the vineyards of Burgundy and forests of Fontainebleau to Paris. Tonight, perhaps join an excursion to see the city's illuminations? (B)

DAY 6: PARIS - SIGHTSEEING.
With a local guide this morning we see Garnier's Opera House, Napoleon's Arc de Triomphe, the Champs Elysees, the Eiffel Tower and we visit Notre Dame Cathedral. Then time at leisure to explore the Louvre or shop for Paris fashions. Tonight, don't miss the nightlife - perhaps a lively cabaret or a typical Parisian bistro. (B)

DAY 7: PARIS - LONDON.
Today we travel through the land in which the great battles of World War 1 took place. We see the Vimy Ridge Memorial upon a hill overlooking the fields, and then we return to London. (B)
